1. Who we are
Sport HRV is developed and owned by Hjerteklapp AS, org. no. 938 636 435, Festningsveien 13B, 1368 Stabekk, Norway. Contact: support@hjerteklapp.com.
2. Licence and purchase
The app is downloaded from Apple’s App Store and used under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms apply in addition. Purchases, payment and refunds are handled by Apple. The app can be tried free for 10 days. After that, the full version, a one-time purchase, is needed to make new recordings; earlier recordings can still be viewed. The full version can also be given with a code from Hjerteklapp AS, redeemed in the app or in the App Store.
3. What the app is for
Sport HRV is made for training and self-tracking. It is not a medical device and must not be used to diagnose, monitor disease or make treatment decisions. Please also read Important health information.
4. Your responsibility
- You decide how hard you train, based on your own health and any advice from your doctor.
- Use the chest strap and watch as the manufacturer recommends.
- Do not look at your phone or watch when it could be dangerous, for example in traffic.
- Recordings are stored only on your iPhone. If you delete the app, the recordings are deleted too. Keep your own copies of anything you want to keep.
5. Measurements and accuracy
The app calculates its values as accurately as the sensors and methods allow. Measurements may still contain errors, for example from poor skin contact, movement or an irregular heart rhythm. We do not guarantee that the values are correct or suitable for any particular purpose.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hjerteklapp AS is not liable for damage or loss resulting from use of the app or from decisions based on it. This includes indirect loss and loss of data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app. Your mandatory rights as a consumer under the law of your country always apply.
7. Other services
The app can be used with products and services from others, such as Polar, Apple Health and training services that accept FIT files. They have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
8. Privacy
The app sends no health or measurement data to us. See the privacy policy.
9. Changes
We may change the app and these terms. Significant changes are announced in the app or on this page. The current version is always available here.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Please contact us first, and we will try to find a solution. Consumers may also use the complaint bodies in their own country.
